In a position that is often neglected, we are ready to improve your child's game no matter what level they are at!

About the Program:

  • Who: Open to all levels from:
    • Level 1: U8-U12 (birth years: 2014-2018)
    • Level 2: U13-U19 (birth years: 2007-2013) 
  • What: Specialized Group Goalkeeper Training
  • Where: Sportsplex Inc
  • When: Saturdays: 10am-11am (Level 1) and 11am-12pm (Level 2)
    • Winter B: February 7, 2026 - March 28, 2026
    • Winter A: December 6, 2025 - January 31, 2026 (Skip 12/27)
  • Why: Goalkeeper is a very specialized position, and a lot of teams do not have the resources to give their goalkeeper the attention/time they need during regular team activities, so we are here to help!
Cost: $160 per 8 week program (includes eight 1-hour group goalkeeper session)

Group Goalkeeping Sessions include (but are not limited to) some of the skills outlined below:
  • Footwork
  • Shot Stopping
  • Rebound Control
  • Distribution
  • Positioning
  • Breakaways
  • Dealing with Crosses/High Balls

Training Staff:

John Netter will lead the Goalkeeping Program for us at Sportsplex. Netter is a goalkeeper coach for FC Buffalo and also the Goalkeeper Trainer for both Buffalo Stallions and Amherst Soccer Association. 

He brings a wealth of knowledge from his 16 years of experience at the position and has a staff consisting of Rudy Pompert, Tim Clark, etc on board to help take your goalkeeper to the next level.
