Return To Play Policies and Protocols - Covid-19


As we continue to navigate through this unprecedented and difficult time, the Safety of our Customers, Guests and Staff is our top priority.  All Guests and Staff are responsible to follow all rules and expectations set forth by Sportsplex Inc to allow Sportsplex Inc to offer the safest environment as possible for all.  Along with the Game Day and Practice Protocol listed below, there will also be Hand Sanitizer available at the Referee Station on each field and at the Front Desk in the lobby. Between each game, the Soccer Ball will be sanitized and Sportsplex Staff has increased cleaning and hygiene procedures. 

Sportsplex Inc will be following the guidelines set by NYS and the CDC.  We will also continue to monitor the recommendations and requirements set by the CDC and NYS and will make necessary adjustments accordingly.  Modifications that Sportsplex will be implementing but not limited to are:​
  • Face Coverings are no longer required while at Sportsplex.
  • Requiring self screening by the Players and Coaches before arriving to the Facility
  • Increasing the Cleaning and Disinfecting routines of the facility and equipment

Current Return To Play Procedure:
  • Prior To Arriving To Your Game/Team Practice:
    • Check your temperature at home (Any Temperatures above 100 degrees Fahrenheit will be prohibited from attending any Sportsplex Activities)
    • Sanitize all equipment (including but not limited to Uniform, Shoes, Shin Guards, Socks, Bag etc).
    • Ensure you are not experiencing any COVID-19 Symptoms (Temperature over 100, Respiratory Issues, Cough, Difficulty Breathing, Chills, Loss of Taste or Smell, Muscle Aches) or have come in contact with anyone who has been confirmed to have COVID-19 or suspected to have COVID-19 Symptoms. 
      • If you or any teammates are experiencing or have come in contact with someone who has any COVID-19 Symptoms, please be sure to follow all health related protocols and inform Sportsplex right away.
  • Once You Arrive to Sportsplex:
    • Face Coverings are no longer required while at Sportsplex.
    • Please enter through the lobby and check in at the Front Desk.
